We realize that English is the foundational language through which all subjects are taught. But more than that, we are also aware that a failing grade in this critical subject has the effect of dramatically limiting future career choices of these students. Because of this, we have decided to help the students along.
Sam Okello, one of Kenya’s leading writers and a publisher, has written guidebooks for the set books the government of Kenya selected for the form four students. He’s written a guide for The River Between and An Enemy of the People. Having taught literature for years—in particular these two books—Sam is well equipped to handle the testable matter in these books.
Due to the hardship experienced by students in rural Kenya, Sahel Publishing is appealing to you to help place these books in the hands of students in the deprived schools.
