You may walk into a Barnes and Noble or Borders Books And Music in your city and place an order. Here’s how it works:

• You go to the Barnes And Noble or Borders Books and Music and head straight to the counter.
  At the counter, smile with the attendant and let him/her know that you are there to order a book or books.
  

• The attendants—very courteously—will ask for your telephone number and email, then he/she will place the order for you. They need your phone number and email so that they can notify you when the book arrives.
• When the book arrives—usually within three to four days—Barnes And Noble or Borders Books And Music calls to notify you of your title’s arrival. At that time, they’ll also inform you that they’ll hold the book for you for two weeks. If you fail to pick up the book within the two weeks, whoever shows up to buy the book will have it.
  

When you go you pick up the book, you may pay cash, by check or by money order…or whichever way suits you best. It’s that simple
