The Night Bob died

Tonight, on the eve of a trip to the United States for the Annual Prayer Breakfast, political intrigue is at feverish pitch in Nairobi. The Daily Nation has reported that a major report on the corrupt ways of Kenya’s top three guns—His Excellency D.T. Darapmio, the Hon. Nick Boit M.P., and Ezekaya—is complete. The newspaper reports that the three have swindled the nation of billions upon billions of shillings. Because of the potential of this report to embarrass the government, and because it can cause tensions with the IMF and World Bank, the author, the flamboyant minister of External Affairs, Dr. Bob Ooko, must be silenced, either before the trip or immediately after. Bottom-line is—this report must not be brought to the public. When Bob goes to the United States and meets President Hemingway, who asks him to consider becoming Kenya’s Head of State, and when word of the meeting reaches His Excellency D.T. Darapmio and his two confidantes, things suddenly become very grim. If Bob survives, he’ll bring the Darapmio administration down. But if this evil administration is to survive, it must eliminate Bob. It’s now a race against time for everyone.
