What books do you publish?
What's the cost of publishing a title?For hardcover and paperback editions of a title, the cost is $980. The following is included in the package:
Note: Paperback edition costs $630 USD. What books qualify as candidates to be published by Sahel Books Inc.?Books that are well developed in plot and have a flow. We don't accept pornographic material of any kind. Do you publish both hardcover and paperbacks?Yes. We publish paperbacks. We give an author the option of releasing a title both in hardcover and paperback at a higher cost. Do you offer E-book titles?Yes. We offer e-book titles but only through digital submission. Upon completion of credit card transaction, e-books are downloaded immediately to the consumer. What are submission requirements?Sahel Books Inc. prefers that you send a double-spaced manuscript in Microsoft Word. Send it on a CD-ROM or attach it to: acquisition@sahelpublishing.net. What format can I submit my manuscript?We accept manuscrips in Microsoft word. Do you accept single spaced manuscripts?Yes. As long as there is flow. Do you offer ghost writing services?Yes. For more information, contact us at: ghostwriter@sahelpublishing.net Who owns the title?The author owns the title. Who owns the rights to the book?The author owns all the rights of his/her book. When are royalties paid?Royalties are paid to the author on a monthly basis. How much is paid in royalty?Sahel Books Inc pays a 50% royalty on every book sold regardless of outlet. Do you design book covers?Yes. We have an in-house designer who offers state-of-the-art covers. Our covers reflect the very high standards Sahel has come to be known for. Note: An author reserves the right to supply their own cover should they have one to work with. Do you offer editing, proofing, and formatting services?Yes. Sahel Books Inc. stands for quality. We ensure that a book has been edited and proofed for the umpteenth time before we forward it to our printer. We pride ourselves in producing titles that compete vigorously in the market place. We offer these services to the author at no additional charges. And we are the only publisher who will do this without a charge. Do you offer an out-of-print service?We bring back an out-of-print title. What materials are used in Sahel Books Inc. print-on-demand books?As quality is our pride and number one priority, we offer high quality, acid-free, book grade of opaque paper stock. How long does it take to set up a title?In three months our titles are available in the market place. Do you offer expedited services?Our expedited services cost an additional $300. We avail the book in the market place in 30 days.
